What Will I Learn?
In Depth SilentSnore Review
SilentSnore is a simple anti-snoring device you can buy online. It’s distributed by a tech company in China. It appears to be good quality product but does not compare well to most of the other snore-stoppers we have reviewed for this site.
The company behind the product appears to drum up business by partnering with affiliates. Some affiliates have created quite impressive websites that mimic an official website. In most cases, these websites are far superior to those belonging to the tech company behind the SilentSnore anti-snoring device.
Strangely, the tech company’s sites do not provide any information about SilentSnore, how it works, or what type of snoring is for. They only have pages where customers can place their orders.
The affiliate sites are a different kettle of fish. They contain many bold claims, often stating SilentSnore is proven to work. Needless to say, they don’t provide any proof to support their claims. It’s a pretty poor state of affairs.
Before going any further, we should point out it’s possible to buy similar snore stoppers from Amazon or eBay for just a few dollars.
There are plenty of sellers because you can buy the devices from distributors in China for around 50-60 cents each.
At the time of this review, SilentSnore cost $49.
What is SilentSnore?
SilentSnore is a small silicone clip you place inside your nostrils before going to sleep.
The tips of the device clamps onto the cartilage that separates the nostrils. This area of the nose is known as the septum.
It’s worth noting, SilentSnore may be a poor choice for anyone who suffers from nosebleeds because bleeds generally come from the blood vessels in the septum.
Who Makes SilentSnore?
Silent snore is distributed via the TechMSX website. The site is run by a Chinese company called Hyper Sls Ltd.
TechMSX offers a wide variety of products, most of which are electronic.
Hyper Sls Ltd also runs Hyperstech.com and uses the site to sell the same products including SilentSnore.
If you do a web search for TechMSX, Hyper Sls Ltd, or Hyperstech you will quickly discover there are a lot of complaints that range from poor-quality or damaged products to non-delivery of orders.
At the time of this review, the Hyperstech page at Trustpilot had more than 3,300 ratings and most of them were bad. (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/hyperstech.com)
Advertised Benefits and Main Selling Points
Hyper Sls Ltd does not provide site visitors with any reasons to buy their anti-snoring product.
On the other hand, affiliate sites make various claims such as:
- Soft
- Safe to use
- Good for your health
Some sites also draw attention to the fact the device has magnets inside the tips but don’t bother to explain why anyone should consider this good.
Device Classification
SilentSnore is a snoring nose clip. Clips of this nature that have magnets inside are often referred to as magnetic nose clips.
Design & Material
The sites pushing this product assure their visitors the clip is made of soft silicone and is comfortable to wear.
Unfortunately, until you receive the device and put it to use there is no way to be certain either claim is true.
Anti-snoring clips are one size fits all but noses do not come in a standard size. Some people have unusually large nostrils, while other people’s nostrils can be quite small.
If your nostrils are quite small, SilentSnore may be uncomfortable to wear and the device will be more likely to block your nostrils instead of open them up.
However, SilentSnore is basically just a u-shaped clip. It relies on the elasticity of the resin. There are no moving parts, so there’s not a lot to go wrong and no need for any initial set-up before using the device.
How Does SilentSnore Work?
Neither of the main websites provide any information about how the SilentSnore anti-snoring device is supposed to work.
However, some affiliate sites say it stops snoring by opening the nostrils and improving airflow through the nose.
If the device can do this, in theory, it may help alleviate nose snoring. There is proof that SilentSnore of similar devices can do this. Even if this one can, most snorers are mouth snorers.
A device like this will not reduce mouth snoring. If you are a mouth snorer the best option is to buy a MAD or a TSD.
In fact, if the device restricts airflow instead of improving it, and this seems likely, it may make snoring worse by encouraging you to breathe through your mouths.
How SilentSnore Compares to Alternative Options
SilentSnore looks like most of the other magnetic nose clips you can buy online, a lot of which are made from hard plastic instead of resin. Resin is a more desirable option.
Other popular brands that use a similar nasal technique to prevent snoring include Mute Snoring and Venyn.
Regardless of how good or bad the quality may be, magnetic nose clips are unlikely to offer the average person much snoring relief.
There is no scientific evidence that shows anti-snoring nose clips, of any kind, are likely to work.
If you are a mouth snorer, MADs and TSDs are much better options. Science supports their abilities and the value of good quality MADs and TSDs can be supported by numerous customer reviews.
Can You Expect Any Discomfort or Side Effects?
It seems likely that a device of this nature may cause some discomfort. The level of discomfort, if any, may depend on the width of your septum.
Although the septum is made of cartilage, several blood vessels are close to the surface. Even if you are not normally prone to nosebleeds, it’s possible the pressure caused by the device, night after night. may irritate or weaken the blood vessels causing them to rupture.
In addition to being unpleasant, nosebleeds can also be messy. So, using this device could cause unnecessary stress by increasing your laundry commitments.
Maintenance Requirements & Product Longevity
SilentSnore is a very simple device that does not require any maintenance but, for hygiene reasons, it makes sense to wash the device between uses.
As for durability, presuming the resin can retain its elasticity, there is no reason why a device like this should not last for several years.

Final Verdict on Silent Snore
Snoring is a common problem that disrupts millions of lives. It would be great if all it took to stop it was going to bed with a magnetic clip stuck up your nose.
Unfortunately, life isn’t that easy. It’s possible a few people may find the clip helps a little but it’s more probable that they will find it does not.
MADs and TSDs have a lot of science behind them. Certain other types of anti-snoring devices do too but, despite the fact the market is saturated with them, anti-snoring nose clips are unlikely to reduce snoring. The odds are more likely that they will increase it.
If you were to go to a doctor or sleep specialist and ask for help to stop snoring, you may be advised to try a MAD or, possibly a TSD.
If your snoring is extremely bad or related to sleep apnea, your doctor may suggest you begin using a CPAP machine. But a magnetic nose clip? Nope! That’s unlikely to happen.
It’s hard to know why anyone would find this type of device appealing for anything other than its ease of use. Sadly, that’s the only thing it has going for it.
If you are dead keen to use a nose clip, do yourself a favor and go for a cheaper option. If you’ve only spent a few dollars, it will be easier to accept when it turns out to be a throw-away item.
Better still, forget the clip and go with a proven alternative instead.
SilentSnore Purchasing Options and Considerations
This device appears to be exclusive to TechMSX.com and Hyperstech.com – under the SilentSnore name, anyway.
It seems probable the nose clips are a white label product. If so, Hyper Sls Ltd will be able to buy pay the manufacturer to use packaging that bears the SilentSnore brand name. (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/w/white-label-product.asp)
As mentioned earlier in this review, the cost per nose clip is $59. That’s seriously expensive for such a small and unproven device.
Hyper Sls Ltd offers reasonable discounts to customers who order two or more clips. That’s good to see, but most people will only require one.
Even if you come from a large family of snorers and decide to place a family-sized order and get the maximum discount, SilentSnore is still hopelessly overpriced.
Guarantee
SilentSnore does not have a normal money-back guarantee, but customers in the EU have a 2-year guarantee that only covers faulty goods.
It’s possible to get a 3-year warranty but it will cost you a further $10.
